Clint Eastwood’s film Invictus, follows post Apartheid South African President Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman), as he unites the nation through his controversial support of the white sport – Rugby. He befriends the captain (Matt Damon) and “fires up” the national team, the Springboks, eventually inspiring them to win the World Cup in 1995. The soundtrack features performances by South African vocal group Overtone with vocalist Yollandi Nortjie, including two original songs “9,000 Days” and “Colorblind.” The score includes music by Kyle Eastwood and Michael Stevens.
